Job summary

The candidate should hold a valid Ohio Treasurer License (or be eligible) and have strong experience in school finance and reporting. MBA or CPA preferred; salary range $95,000–$140,000.

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio School Treasurer License or eligible.
• Experience as School Treasurer desirable but not required.
• Strong understanding of Ohio School Law and school finance.
• Ability to present financial data clearly to varied audiences.
• Proficient with computer software for timely reporting.
• Experience with annual audit processes and credible reporting.
• Compliance with laws, regulations, and deadlines.
• Knowledge of collective bargaining processes.
• Ability to address public records requests promptly.
• Integrity, leadership, and good communication with staff, Superintendent, and Board.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations for the district.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of state and federal reporting.
• Develop annual operating budget and Five-Year Forecast.
• Lead financial administration and administrative duties as Treasurer/ CFO.
