Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in farming or agricultural settings preferred.
• Ability to operate and maintain farm machinery.
• Such alternatives to the above qualification as the board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with agriculture teacher regarding daily assignments
• Maintain and operate farm machinery and equipment
• Maintain and operate irrigation systems
• Mowing and maintaining pasture areas
• Caring for and keeping records of livestock and maintenance
• Constructing and maintaining livestock and security fence
• Minor equipment repairs
• Purchasing adequate supplies for maintaining farming operations
• Performs other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate supervisor, the Superintendent, or the board.
