Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Electrical Journeyman license/registration required.
• Minimum three years' experience as an electrician in a commercial or educational environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Working knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair and maintain electrical motors, fixtures and district equipment.
• Use measuring and testing equipment to perform assigned work.
• Maintain records as required by supervisor.
• Lift heavy objects and work from ladders/scaffolding; support other trades as needed.
• Develop and follow preventative maintenance programs for electrical systems.
