Job summary

Legacy Traditional Schools is seeking a Facilities Assistant to support the Campus Facility Manager with cleaning, repairs and inspections on the campus. This hands-on role involves assisting with setup of meeting rooms, handling deliveries, and coordinating with staff and students.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and practical knowledge of maintenance and cleaning. The position requires outdoor and indoor work, lifting up to 50 lbs, and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance and cleaning procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to read and understand technical writing.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and ensure facilities are clean and well repaired; submit repairs in Zendesk and perform urgent cleaning tasks.
• Assist with setup of meeting rooms: furniture, chairs, tables, projectors, easels, white boards.
• Report major repairs or replacements to the facility manager for the annual plan.
• Establish and maintain good rapport with students, staff and community.
• Receive campus deliveries and distribute to required locations.
• Put up and take down flags as needed.
• Perform light cleaning, trash pick-up and maintenance in common areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
