Job summary

Christian Academy School System – Indiana Campus in New Albany, IN is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Team Member. This hands-on role focuses on building repairs, general maintenance, and keeping our campus in excellent working condition.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong Christian testimony, dependability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The position is on-site with full-time hours and benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong Christian testimony and alignment with school faith.
• Commitment to regular attendance and church beliefs.
• General maintenance aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work requests and complete maintenance tasks.
• Assist with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
• Perform routine facility inspections and safety compliance.
• Assist with custodial tasks, classroom setup, and events.
• Safely perform physically demanding work, lifting up to 100 pounds.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE as required.
• Coordinate with Fire Marshal and Health Inspectors when needed.
• Supervise student interns and temporary staff as directed.
