Job summary

Christian Academy School System – Indiana Campus in New Albany seeks an Elementary Teacher's Aide for the 2026-2027 school year. This role supports the lead teacher, provides instruction to students, assists with prep, and may help in the school office with clerical tasks.

Responsibilities include supervising lunch, carline, recess, preparing instructional materials, grading, and serving as a substitute when needed. Bachelor's degree preferred; state certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and collaborate with the lead classroom teacher.
• Provide instruction to students and assist with instructional preparation.
• Assist in the school office with administrative and clerical responsibilities.
• Supervise lunch, carline, recess, and other school-related activities as assigned.
• Prepare instructional materials for teaching (cutting, coloring, stapling, collating, pasting, etc.).
• Grade papers/tests.
• Serve as a substitute teacher when the lead classroom teacher is absent.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
