Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to supervise other staff.
• Experience with cleaning and building maintenance in a commercial setting.
• Ability to operate computer systems for orders and communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical plant of a large high school.
• All phases of interior cleaning using hand and mechanical tools.
• Develop knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Manage emergency lighting, fire protection and security systems tasks.
• Conduct grounds-keeping and snow removal as needed.
• Make minor repairs to equipment and buildings.
• Perform monthly safety checks of facilities and equipment.
• Order supplies and maintain inventory.
• Provide custodial services to groups after hours and on non-school days.
