Qualifications

• Combination of education and experience suitable for the role.
• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Previous building and cleaning maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license or ability to provide own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and maintenance in school buildings and grounds.
• Check and secure building for safety and cleanliness.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, and other areas according to standards.
• Perform grounds-keeping duties and assist in unloading trucks.
• Participate in maintenance work during school vacations.

Skills

Ability to follow oral or written work orders

Fluent in English

Ability to describe cleaning, maintenance, or repair problems

Ability to establish cooperative working relationships

Basic math skills

Ability to work in poor weather conditions

Ability to work from ladders and automatic lifts

Ability to perform work according to procedures
