Job summary

The City of Helena is seeking a Custodian I to maintain the City County Administration Building and the Law and Justice Center. You will perform custodial tasks, assist with events, and participate in basic maintenance.

This role offers a stable schedule with a 3:30 PM–12:00 AM shift, Monday through Friday. A high school diploma and preferred custodial experience are required. Safety and reliability are essential in serving our community.

Qualifications

• Minimum a high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year custodial/building maintenance experience preferred.
• Must pass a detailed background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties: clean, sanitize, restrooms, floors, carpets, and spaces.
• Set up rooms for conferences and events; move furniture and equipment.
• Assist in routine building maintenance: light repairs, bulb changes, painting.
