HES Facilities is seeking General Cleaners to maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep across assigned areas at educational facilities.

Qualifications

• Team-focused approach to work and able to take directions.
• Physically demanding, fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail.
• Background check required.
• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push and pull.

Responsibilities

• Extracting carpet
• Stripping and waxing floors
• Removing trash and recycling
• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and locker rooms
• Polishing outside area within 10 feet of entryways
• Washing windows
• Removal of snow and ice
• Cleaning desks/walls/furniture/doors/entry glass/interior glass/counter tops/chalkboards/whiteboards/blinds and light fixtures and any other duties as directed by the Custodial Supervisor or his/her designated representative
