Job summary

HES Facilities Management in Albany, GA is seeking a licensed plumber to support facilities maintenance for Albany State and other campus buildings. The role focuses on plumbing repairs, installations, and basic trades to keep systems running smoothly.

You will perform preventive work orders, coordinate with the Facilities Operations team, and ensure compliance with safety policies. A valid plumber’s license is required and benefits include medical, life, dental and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Plumbing work experience with repairs and installations.
• Ability to measure, cut, thread piping and replace damaged lines.
• Comfort performing minor electrical and carpentry tasks.
• Keep accurate records of work orders and hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform plumbing repairs/ installations of sinks, valves, and water coolers.
• Replace damaged water lines and unclog drainage systems.
• Do minor electrical and carpentry tasks as needed.
• Record work details and hours in the system.
• Coordinate with Facilities Operations for preventive maintenance.
