Job summary

HES Facilities Management seeks a Certified or Licensed HVAC Technician (Maintenance) for Albany, GA. The role focuses on chiller operation, boiler and system diagnostics, and preventive maintenance across heating and ventilating equipment.

The candidate will manage documentation in CMMS, coordinate with facilities teams, and handle on-call duties while ensuring safe, compliant operations and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-year military, vocational or apprentice HVAC training.
• Journeyman HVAC license preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in chiller operation and repair; troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
• Perform major and routine maintenance on heating and ventilating equipment and controls.
• Operate and calibrate building automation systems; respond to alarms and troubleshoot issues.
• Complete documentation for work orders and equipment status in CMMS.
• Attend on-call duties and assist other trades when needed.
