Job summary

Denver Public Schools is seeking a facilities manager to oversee day-to-day operations of one or more large school facilities in Denver. You will supervise a team of 8+ staff, coordinate cleaning, grounds care, and minor maintenance, and work with principals and district personnel to ensure safe, compliant operations.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, Colorado residency, and the ability to meet physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and organizes cleaning, grounds care, and minor maintenance for large facilities.
• Responds to emergencies on a 24/7 call basis and supports district-wide closures.
• Inspects facilities and ensures sanitation, staff utilization, and maintenance standards.
• Manages the budget for the assigned facility and oversees operations, supplies, and overtime.
