Job summary

KIPP Academy Lynn Charter School in Lynn, MA seeks a Facilities Manager to oversee daily maintenance and custodial services at the campus and assist with long-term facilities planning and budgeting. This role reports to the Director of School Operations to ensure clean, safe facilities that support learning.

Key duties include preventive maintenance, coordinating vendor contracts, overseeing security systems, managing the work-order system, and ensuring compliance with safety and fire

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; facilities experience preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ work experience including team management.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift 25-50 pounds and work on feet.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility maintenance and custodial services.
• Plan major projects and summer work.
• Ensure facility compliance and permits.
• Coordinate security systems and external vendors.
• Manage invoices and purchasing with DSO.
• Develop and implement fire safety plans.
