Job summary

KIPP Academy Lynn Charter School is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee daily maintenance and custodial services, ensuring clean, safe facilities for students. You will partner with the Director of School Operations to support long-term planning and budgeting for campus properties.

Responsibilities include coordinating major projects, ensuring permits and fire safety, and managing vendor contracts and security systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in facilities or related roles with team leadership.
• Proven ability to use data to drive change and inform decisions.
• Strong leadership, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Identify problems and proactively develop solutions.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to coordinate across campuses.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility maintenance and custodial services.
• Plan and execute major projects, summer work, and furniture needs.
• Ensure compliance, permits, and fire safety plans are in place.
• Coordinate snow removal, landscaping, and vendor contracts.
• Manage security systems collaboration with IT and vendors.
• Monitor building systems remotely and respond to requests.
• Oversee inventory, supplies, and key management for campus.
