Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools is seeking a custodian/maintenance worker to perform building and outdoor upkeep across district facilities. The role includes cleaning, minor repairs, and support for events at elementary, middle, and high schools. Flexibility for reassignment to cover vacancies is required.

The position requires an HSE diploma and may require a criminal background check. Bilingual English/Spanish and strong customer service are preferred.

Qualifications

• HSE diploma required.
• No professional work experience required.
• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform building maintenance tasks including cleaning, graffiti removal, wall patching and painting, and basic electrical/plumbing/HVAC tasks.
• Open buildings and setup/clean up for school activities and events.
• Perform outdoor maintenance including cleaning, snow/ice removal, and pressure washing exterior surfaces.
• Respond to service calls; may perform emergency biohazard cleanups.
• Audit facilities and report maintenance needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
