Job summary

Pleasant Grove ISD in Texarkana, Texas is seeking a dependable General Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. You will perform a variety of repairs and maintenance to keep district facilities safe, clean, and functional.

Primary hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with occasional overtime. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, pass a background check, be comfortable using work orders and technology, and work well both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Electrical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair district facilities.
• Perform a variety of skilled maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
• Troubleshoot issues and use hand and power tools as required.
• Utilize work orders and basic computer tasks.
• Ensure safe, clean, and functional facilities for students and staff.
