Chichester School District is seeking a Maintenance Class B employee to join our team in Aston, PA. The role focuses on keeping district facilities SAFE and CLEAN and performing routine maintenance and repairs to support students and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance and repair for the care and upkeep of school facilities.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work at various heights.
• Follows safety rules for handling cleaning agents and PPE.
• Able to perform lawn/grounds maintenance and minor repairs.

Responsibilities

• Remove ice and snow from steps, entries and sidewalks.
• Keep grounds free of debris.
• Trim hedges, shrubs and trees.
• Cut and trim grass, keeping entries, walks, and driveways free of grass clippings.
• Maintain and repair tools and equipment.
• Lift and move heavy items.
• Work with ladders, scaffolds, roofs and other areas at various heights.
