Qualifications

• Five years of practical experience in facilities maintenance and operations.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Maryland driver's license preferred.
• Plumbing, HVAC, and general contracting certifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and safety standards.
• Ability to coordinate with principals, teachers, and administrators.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise routine maintenance and daily operations of the school's physical plant and grounds.
• Initiate work orders and estimate labor and materials.
• Inspect buildings and grounds and address deficiencies.
• Supervise maintenance staff and communicate status of work orders.
• Ensure safety and proper operation of equipment in boiler rooms.
