Job summary

Bethel School District 403 is seeking a Head Custodian for Cougar Mountain Middle School to lead a custodial team and ensure a clean, safe facility for students and staff. This 8-hour-per-day, 260-day-per-year role supports daily operations and events.

Three years of custodian experience with supervisory duties is required, along with knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety protocols. The position reports to facilities leadership and involves budget and equipment management.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years' experience as a custodian, with two (2) years in a supervisory or lead capacity; experience in a school facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cleaning of assigned facilities to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Open/close building and security procedures; set up events and equipment.
• Train and supervise night shift custodians and monitor time records.
• Maintain custodial budget and supplies, and keep work order records.
• Perform minor repairs and summer cleaning to prepare for the school year.
