Job summary

Brownell Talbot College Preparatory School is seeking a Facilities and Maintenance Worker to keep our campus clean, safe, and functional for students, staff, and visitors. You will perform custodial tasks, groundskeeping, event setup, and general maintenance, with physical work up to 75 pounds, and a schedule from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm.

Candidates should have a high school diploma (preferred) and the ability to operate custodial and groundskeeping equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to safely operate custodial and groundskeeping equipment.
• Training is available.
• Previous custodial, maintenance, groundskeeping, or facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Custodial Services: clean classrooms, hallways, offices, restrooms, and common areas.
• Groundskeeping: mow lawns, maintain sidewalks and parking areas.
• Event Setup and Support: set up tables, chairs, and equipment for events.
• General Facility Maintenance: perform inspections and report repair needs.
• Safety and Compliance: follow safety procedures and use PPE.
