Job summary

Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools is seeking a Custodial and Maintenance professional to maintain district facilities, operate building systems, and support safety and security across campuses.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 5+ years of facility maintenance, and valid Minnesota licensure. The district offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, including health and life insurance, with annual certification stipends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of experience maintaining commercial or educational facilities.
• Continued employment contingent on active licenses/certifications.
• Valid Minnesota Driver's License required.
• Minnesota Boiler Licenses (2nd Class, 1st Class within 3 years; Chief C Boiler within 6 years).
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• EPA Refrigerant handling certification or ability to obtain within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Lead Custodians and maintenance team to perform preventative maintenance on building systems.
• Maintain standby generators (High School assignment).
• Perform building and equipment repairs as needed, timely and high quality.
• Assist Food Service with commercial kitchen equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Help Lead Custodians resolve daily building security issues and maintain safety.
• Assist Outside Maintenance with snow removal, ice management and groundskeeping.
• Submit, track, and complete online work requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
