Gaston is seeking an in-house custodian to perform a variety of manual cleaning and maintenance duties in school facilities. You will clean buildings and grounds, operate basic maintenance tasks, load and unload supplies, and assist with minor equipment repairs while following established schedules.

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of custodial experience. Strong ability to work independently, follow instructions, and communicate with staff is required;

• Maintains buildings and grounds per schedules.

• Operates heating/AC controls and adjusts climate as needed.
• Raises/lowers flags and opens/closes buildings.
• Establishes working relationships with staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
