Job summary

Gaston College is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to perform a wide range of cleaning tasks across campus locations, ensuring clean, sanitary, and orderly environments. You will support events setup and teardown, maintain supply areas, and operate cleaning equipment according to training.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (preferred), prior housekeeping experience, valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Fingerprinting and SBI background check clearance required.
• Previous professional housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service and follow college policies and safety rules.
• Report safety hazards and needed repairs promptly.
• Assist with housekeeping for special events as needed.
• Set up/tear-down for events and handle equipment for campus locations.
