Job summary

Sd215 is hiring a Custodian for South Fremont High School. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with benefits including sick leave, vacation, insurance and retirement. Pay depends on experience and the Classified Salary Schedule.

The role involves maintaining a clean, safe facility, supporting district goals, and working with staff, students and the public. Regular attendance and reliability are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Read and write at a minimum of a 9th grade level.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Physically capable of performing assigned tasks.
• Ability to work with staff, students and the public.
• Capable of lifting up to 55 pounds.
• Previous experience preferred, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Keeps building and premises neat and clean at all times (classrooms, hallways, etc.).
• Regularly checks exit doors and panic hardware during occupancy.
• Sweeps, vacuums, dusts and cleans as assigned.
• Cleans bathrooms daily and maintains fixtures.
• Washes windows and maintains school grounds in a safe condition.
• Performs minor repairs and reports major issues to supervisor.
• Open/close building daily and ensure doors/windows are secured.
