Job summary

Fremont Public Schools is seeking a Custodian II for the 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. shift at the Middle School. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and involves cleaning, maintenance, and operating janitorial equipment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• First Aid/CPR certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, wax, mop and buff floors; dust and clean offices, classrooms, cafeteria, gym, and other rooms.
• Collect and remove trash; wash walls and windows; clean restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Move furniture and equipment; set up classroom and gym; perform minor maintenance; report major repairs.
• Maintain building grounds; remove snow/ice; perform related duties as assigned.
