Job summary

Archbishop Murphy High School is seeking a dedicated Facilities Custodial Associate for a full-time, non-exempt role with a 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM shift in Everett, WA. Start date is immediate; salary range 48,000–52,000 USD, based on experience.

Responsibilities include cleaning, maintenance support, and inventory organization, reporting to the Facilities Supervisor. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, pass a background check, and complete Virtus training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must complete a pre-employment background check and Virtus training.
• Ability to perform routine custodial duties and light maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine custodial duties: dusting, mopping, vacuuming, restrooms, restocking supplies.
• Vacuum and spot-wash carpets; clean and wax floors and operate floor-care equipment.
• Dust surfaces, clean fixtures, walls, and ledges; change air filters and clean vents.
• Wash windows; clean glass, doors, and partitions; manage trash and recyclables.
• Secure doors and windows; turn off lights in classrooms, gym, and hallways.
• Assist with minor maintenance such as bulb changes and light furniture adjustments.
• Organize and maintain inventories of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Follow safety and environmental practices; report maintenance needs to supervisor.
