Job summary

Easley High School is seeking a Custodian to maintain a clean and safe school environment. The role runs Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with an initial temporary period through Kelly Staffing for about 45 days, after which a full-time position with benefits may follow.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, physical ability to perform custodial tasks, and compliance with district safety standards. The SDPC model is referenced in the employment arrangement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or Bronze level WorkKeys/WIN Assessment required.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Custodial and grounds-keeping duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Clean restrooms, hallways, classrooms, offices, cafeteria and other areas.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop floors; buff carpets; clean windows and walls.
• Set up rooms for events and respond to emergency calls.
• Operate floor buffers, vacuums, lawn tools and maintain equipment safely.
• Unlocks/secures buildings and perform light maintenance.
