Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Required WCPSS trainings provided after employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensures entire school/facility is sanitized, cleaned, and maintained (e.g., floors, restrooms, waste disposal, windows).
• Moves and arranges furniture as needed.
• Performs minor or preventative maintenance on custodial equipment and reports repairs or safety concerns.
• Opens/closes buildings at start/end of workdays and manages lights as scheduled.
• Maintains reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Responds to after-hour emergencies and inclement weather calls.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
