Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write at a level required by the job.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Custodial experience preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the facility through established procedures.
• Inspect school grounds daily to remove debris and hazards.
• Clean classrooms, including trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and polishing fixtures.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies.
• Move and arrange furniture and equipment; set up rooms for conferences and meetings.
• Identify and report building maintenance needs; assist maintenance staff with repairs.

Education
