Job summary

Propel Schools, based in Homestead, seeks a Custodian to join the Facilities Team. The role involves cleaning and maintaining the school facility and grounds year-round, with a starting rate around $18/hr.

Under moderate supervision, you will wipe, sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and perform light maintenance as part of daily janitorial duties. Candidates must be 18+ with reliable transportation and physical stamina.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be 18 or older.
• Ability to perform strenuous manual labor as required (lifting, moving objects).
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Wipe, sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and polish floors.
• Clean windows, woodwork, furniture, and equipment.
• Clean restrooms and keep them stocked with supplies.
• Collect and dispose of trash from buildings and grounds.
• Perform outside work such as lawn care and snow/ice removal.
