Job summary

Phoenixville Area School District seeks a Custodian for the 2nd shift at Barkley Elementary School. Under the supervision of the Principal and Executive Director of Schools, you will perform general cleaning and maintenance in school facilities and assist students, teachers, and staff as needed.

This role involves handling cleaning tasks and assisting with routine maintenance to keep the building safe and welcoming.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in building and cleaning maintenance desirable.
• PA Motor Vehicle Operator's license or ability to provide own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of classrooms, hallways, cafeterias, restrooms, offices and other areas.
• Sweep, mop, buff, strip and wax floors; clean rugs and blinds.
• Washes walls, windows, doors and sills; remove graffiti and clean glass areas.
