Job summary

Bethel Park School District is seeking a custodian to perform general cleaning and maintenance in school buildings and grounds, ensuring equipment remains functional and providing custodial support to students, staff, and visitors. This role involves following supervisor directions and maintaining a safe, clean environment.

Responsibilities include securing buildings, cleaning various spaces, floor care, cleaning fixtures, assisting with deliveries, and basic grounds work.

Qualifications

• Fluent English reading and writing required.
• Experience in building cleaning and maintenance desirable.
• PA Driver's license or reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Check and secure building at start and end of shift to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and other areas to district standards.
• Sweep, mop, buff, strip and wax floors; clean rugs and blinds.
• Receive deliveries and assist in unloading trucks, store supplies.
• Perform grounds-keeping duties and snow/ice removal as needed.
