Job summary

Minnetonka Public Schools is hiring a Campus Facilities Manager for Minnetonka High School (MHS). The role is full-time, year-round, with a contract and a salary range of $75,000–$85,000 dependent on qualifications and a competitive benefits package.

The position leads custodial staff, oversees building operations, and administers district security and energy systems in coordination with the Facilities Services team.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a public school Buildings and Grounds Department.
• Strong organizational and human relations abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and take initiative.
• Willingness to obtain Boiler Operator license if not held.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision of campus custodial staff and operational plans.
• Oversee daily custodial operations, security, energy conservation, and support functions.
• Inspect campus buildings to evaluate maintenance and cleaning effectiveness.
• Recruit, develop, and evaluate custodial staff members.
• Oversee building security systems upgrades and district energy management systems.
• Supervise maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.
• Participate in district leadership and strategic plan development.
