Job summary

Putnam City Buildings and Safety seeks a Middle School Building Site Manager to oversee custodial operations for a school facility in Warr Acres, OK. The role requires supervising a small team, coordinating daily cleaning tasks, and ensuring security and safety standards are met for optimal educational use.

Starting date is immediate with salary established by the Board. Reporting to the Buildings and Safety leadership, you will implement QA programs and work with the energy manager on site

Qualifications

• Experience as a site manager for custodial services, preferably in an educational setting.
• Managerial level communication, both verbal and written skills.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Open and secure the facility for a school day, activities or occupancy.
• Schedule assignments and oversee custodial work.
• Supervise 4–8 employees and participate in cleaning activities.
• Implement Quality Assurance programs to meet district standards.
• Receive inventory control supplies and maintain inventories.
• Handle time records for custodial staff and certify payroll.
• Evaluate staff performance on a regular basis.
• Maintain general building security and fire safety knowledge.
• Train custodial employees under supervision.
• Coordinate remodeling and renovation tasks with Central Maintenance.
• Monitor labor resources allocated to the assigned area.
