Job summary

Vallivue School District is seeking a temporary Middle School Event Worker to help run athletic and activity events at Ridgevue High School. You will assist with ticket sales, crowd supervision, and public address duties while ensuring safe, welcoming environments for spectators and participants.

Responsibilities include operating scoreboards, recording results, setting up and cleaning facilities, and reporting safety concerns.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Provide excellent customer service and promote sportsmanship.
• Ability to stand, walk, and be outdoors for extended periods.
• Must pass criminal history check and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Sell, collect, or verify admission tickets and passes.
• Supervise entrance and exit gates.
• Provide directions to spectators and participants.
• Make public address announcements.
• Operate scoreboard or game clock as needed.
• Record official results or keep scorebook.
• Assist with event setup and cleanup.
• Maintain safety and report issues to event staff.
