Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, officials, and spectators.
• Ability to remain calm and exercise good judgment in stressful situations.
• Ability to accurately handle money, tickets, and event equipment when required.
• Ability to work independently while staying responsive to the event administrator.

Responsibilities

• Sell, collect, or verify admission tickets and passes.
• Supervise entrance and exit gates.
• Provide directions and assistance to spectators and participants.
• Make public address announcements as assigned.
• Operate scoreboard, game clock, shot clock, or other event equipment.
• Keep the official scorebook or record event results.
• Assist with event setup and cleanup and facility preparation.
• Monitor designated spectator, parking, locker room, or competition areas.
• Follow cash handling procedures and reconcile attendance and revenue.
• Report safety concerns or emergencies to the event administrator.
• Follow district emergency procedures during evacuations or incidents.
