Qualifications

Ability to obtain Bus Driver Certification and DOT physical.
Satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check required.
Responsibilities
Perform major and minor mechanical repairs on district vehicles.
Service vehicles according to established preventive maintenance schedule.
Make emergency calls when vehicles have problems in the field.

Ability to diagnose mechanical problems
Effective communication skills
Diesel and Gas Diagnostic experience
Ability to obtain State Vehicle Inspection Certification
Education
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Valid Texas driver’s license
