Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive mechanics and maintenance.
• Ability to obtain Texas Commercial driver's license with Passenger and School Bus endorsements within 3 months.
• Satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily activities of vehicle repair and maintenance to ensure proper performance and safety of all District vehicles.

Skills

Knowledge of automotive mechanics and maintenance

Ability to operate a school bus

Acceptable driving record

Ability to pass alcohol and drug screen tests

Education

High School graduate/GED

Clear and valid Texas license or Valid CDL

TEA Certified within 3 months
