Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field (required).
• GAAP knowledge and internal-control practices (required).
• Ability to reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports (required).
• Excel proficiency and ability to learn district ERP systems (required).
• Strong organization and multi-priority management (required).
• Effective communication and confidentiality (required).
• Experience in school district/government or related fields (preferred).
• Knowledge of GASB standards and Illinois school district accounting (preferred).
• Experience with district financial reporting, grants, audits, etc. (preferred).
• CPA/MBA/CSBO or credentials (preferred).

Responsibilities
