Job summary

Qualifications

• BA/BS or relevant four-year degree.
• Proficient in general computer programs: Word, Excel, Google Workspace, Skyward.
• Ability to operate office equipment, data entry, and scheduling.
• Excellent written and oral communication; collaborative work.
• Strong organization; ability to work independently; detail‑driven.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance and support to Asst. Superintendent of Finance and Operations & Controller for bargaining matters.
• Perform bank reconciliations as directed by Controller.
• Lead accounts receivable activities; code cash receipts in GL.
• Monitor bank activity daily and PushCoin activity.
• Perform monthly bank charges allocations to activity accounts.
• Provide backup for PO and vendor approvals; prepare journal vouchers.
• Assist with financial reporting; support grants and ISBE submissions.
• May supervise and mentor AP and bookkeeping staff.
