Trinity Services, Inc. seeks a dynamic School Director to lead its historic therapeutic school, founded in 1950.

You will provide educational leadership, operational oversight, and staff supervision while ensuring ISBE compliance and strong partnerships with families and districts. This role emphasizes building effective systems, developing staff, and fostering a positive, inclusive school culture that supports students with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Educational Leadership or related field and licensure preferred.
• Three years of classroom teaching, preferably in special education.
• Knowledge of ISBE rules and regulations under Parts 226 and 401.
• Experience in educational leadership, staff supervision, and team development.

Responsibilities

• Provide educational leadership, direction, and supervision to instructional staff.
• Ensure ISBE compliance with Parts 226 and 401.
• Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and develop staff to support instruction.
• Oversee curricula, materials, instructional strategies, and teaching methods.
• Supervise development and monitoring of IEPs to address student needs.
• Provide instructional coverage when needed and supervise staff.
• Lead quarterly staff in-service training for growth and compliance.
• Coordinate Illinois Alternate Assessment administration.
• Oversee student referral, intake, and enrollment processes.
• Maintain relationships with school districts, parents, and community partners.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, student-centered school culture.
