You will provide educational leadership, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with Illinois ISBE rules while supporting students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Qualifications

• MA in Educational Leadership or M.Ed preferred; Principal Endorsement acceptable
• Type 75 admin endorsement or comparable licensure may be considered
• 3+ years classroom teaching, preferably in special education
• Familiar with ISBE rules, Parts 226 and 401, and related requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide educational leadership, direction, and supervision to instructional staff
• Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate staff to support effective instruction
• Oversee curricula, materials, and teaching methods aligned to student needs
• Manage IEP development and monitoring for individualized student goals
• Provide instruction coverage when needed and coordinate staff training
• Coordinate enrollment processes and partnerships with districts and families
