Job summary

Celebree School is seeking a Director to lead a Texas childcare center, reporting to the Franchise Owner. You will oversee talent, brand, and daily operations while fostering staff growth and strong community relationships.

The role focuses on operational excellence and delivering a nurturing environment for children and team members. You will ensure licensing compliance, drive enrollment and customer service, and implement strategic initiatives in coordination with the Owner.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience as a manager or director in a childcare setting.
• Experience as the official Director of Record for a licensed center (≥200 students).
• verifiable licensing record with HHSC and state director credentials.
• Must meet Texas state requirements to serve as a licensed childcare center director.
• Highly accountable, self-motivated, proactive problem-solver, and detail-oriented.
• Proficient English communication and legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Talent management and development: recruit, coach, and retain staff.
• Licensing and compliance with HHSC standards and applicable laws.
• Oversee daily center operations, scheduling, budgets, records, safety, and admin tasks.
• Drive enrollment, community outreach, and exceptional customer service.

Essential Responsibilities

• Talent Management & Development: Identify, attract, and hire top-tier talent. Support staff growth and retention through comprehensive training, coaching, and daily guidance.
• Licensing & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) Child Care Regulation standards, as well as federal laws, state regulations, and Celebree policies and procedures.
• School Operations & Administration: Oversee daily center operations, including staff scheduling, budget management, record-keeping, safety protocols, and administrative execution.
• Enrollment & Community Building: Foster a welcoming school culture that attracts new families and retains current ones. Ensure exceptional customer service, warm parent communication, and engaging school tours.
• Leadership & Strategy: Proactively identify operational improvements, lead new company initiatives, and maintain open, collaborative communication with the Owner.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Leadership Experience: Minimum of 3 years of documented leadership or managerial experience (proof of previous job titles, formal responsibilities, and verifiable references required)
• Center Director Experience: Minimum of 2 years serving as the official, designated Director of Record for a licensed childcare center with a capacity/enrollment of at least 200 students.
• Texas HHSC Licensing Record: Must be verifiable on the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) licensing registry as a qualified/designated Center Director.
• State Director Credentials: Must meet all Texas state governing agency requirements to serve as a licensed Childcare Center Director.
• Key Attributes: Highly accountable, self-motivated, proactive problem-solver, and deeply detail-oriented.
• Communication & Work Authorization: Full proficiency in English (written and verbal) and legal authorization to work in the United States.
