Job summary

Quest Food Management Services Llc is seeking an Operations Assistant to support the Unit Manager and District Manager in the overall operations of a school and business dining unit at the University of Indianapolis.

This hourly full‑time position requires reliable performance, adherence to Quest standards, and accurate handling of daily, weekly, and monthly paperwork to keep the unit running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or dining service preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate with staff.
• Attention to accuracy in paperwork and deposits.

Responsibilities

• Communicate Quest vision and values to staff daily.
• Demonstrate commitment to Quest values through actions daily.
• Report for scheduled shifts on time in full uniform.
• Perform opening and closing duties for the unit.
• Complete weekly and monthly catering billing.
• Maintain open communications with management, staff, and customers.
• Communicate issues to Unit Manager.
• Assist and oversee cash control, daily deposits, logs and revenue.
• Assist in new hire screening and paperwork.
• Collaborate with management to maintain service, cleanliness, food quality and asset control.
• Coordinate with other Quest managers as needed.
