Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring for Food Service Worker roles at the Maine School of Science and Mathematics in Limestone, ME. We offer full-time and part-time schedules, with early morning shifts and varying weekday options.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial kitchen experience preferred.
• Food serving and preparation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work: washing, peeling, cutting fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays safely between stations.
• Stores food following wrapping, dating and safety procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Uses approved recipes to ensure proper portions and temperatures.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation, safety, and cash control procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
