Job summary

Elior School Dining is seeking a motivated food service director to lead a school dining program, ensuring timely meals for students, faculty, and clients. You will oversee a team of food service staff and manage the department end-to-end.

The role requires coordinating operations, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with culinary and safety standards, while maintaining strong communication with district leadership and other departments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience coordinating food service operations.
• Experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication with hourly staff and company executives.
• Ability to manage in a diverse environment with a focus on client and customer satisfaction.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Manage all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Lead and develop a team of associates, including hiring and training new employees.
• Ensure staff meet culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Prepare and manage the department budget, including ingredient purchasing and forecasting.
• Coordinate with the district manager and other departments on dining service operations.
