Compass Group USA's Chartwells K-12 division is hiring a School Dietitian to support Beech Grove Schools. The role focuses on creating and managing special diet menus for students with allergies or medical conditions, ensuring compliance with USDA standards, and collaborating with the nutrition team to run effective food service operations.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree and is a Registered Dietitian, with 2–3 years of experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and RD credentials are required.
• Two to three years of professional experience in school nutrition or related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage special diet menus for students with allergies or medical conditions.
• Ensure menus meet compliance standards using internal menu software.
• Collaborates with the child nutrition team to support food service operations.
• Train staff on food allergy procedures and program compliance.
• Conduct internal audits and ensure USDA school meal program compliance.
• Research and apply for grants to support district nutrition goals.
• Participate in community events as needed.
