Job summary

Campus Services Group in Immaculata, PA is hiring a School Day Porter to support daily janitorial tasks at the school. The role focuses on keeping entryways, classrooms, and common areas clean and safe while working closely with staff and students.

This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with a pay rate of $16–$17 per hour. Benefits include telemedicine, prescription discounts, and career development opportunities, with training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience in a school setting is preferred.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks consistently.
• Must complete all responsibilities without supervision after training.
• Must be punctual and reliable for scheduled shifts.
• Ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours daily.
• Must be able to lift/carry and push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies, as required by state, local, and/or customers.
• Must provide a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial tasks in entryways, corridors, classrooms, cafeterias, and common areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, sinks, floors, and commodes, replenishing lavatory supplies as needed.
• Remove trash, empty wastebaskets, and remove graffiti.
• Use cleaning solutions safely, adhering to all safety precautions.
• Report equipment or cleaning product needs and malfunctions to supervisors.
• Assist with event support and respond to paging systems promptly.
• Follow infection control and handwashing procedures to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Ensure customer service and cleaning standards are consistently met.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Responsible for operating a school vehicle around campus to collect and transport trash and waste materials.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Must be comfortable safely operating a vehicle throughout the school campus as part of daily job responsibilities.
