Job summary

BridgePrep Academy, Inc. is seeking a dedicated School Custodian to join our team in Davenport, FL. The position focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and high-quality facility that supports an optimal learning environment for students.

The role emphasizes safety, prompt maintenance responses, and adherence to established standards. You will work with the Facilities Manager to ensure cleanliness, order, and safe operation of cleaning equipment, while also complying with required background

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions for cleaning, minor maintenance, and safety.
• Ability to handle chemicals, operate cleaning equipment, and exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally (or 10 pounds frequently).
• Successful completion of a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Maintain exceptional cleaning standards across classrooms, common areas, and school grounds.
• Execute assigned repair and maintenance work orders within 48 hours.
• Use required PPE 100% of the time, keep chemical supplies securely locked, and report unsafe situations.
• Monitor supplies and order from the Facilities Manager within campus guidelines.
• Safely operate heavy cleaning machinery and properly handle standard facility cleaning solutions.
